Payments

By ordering any product or service from us, you are purchasing a pre-paid service. All payments must be made in advance via bank, bKash, Rocket, card or other supported gateways.

Renewal notices are usually sent by email starting from around 45 days before the renewal date. If you do not renew your services by the due date, your hosting and/or domain may be suspended or terminated, and HostingBangladesh will not be responsible for any resulting data loss.

For most web hosting plans we set up your account after payment is confirmed. Clients are encouraged to pay via bKash or other local gateways as they are often the quickest and easiest options in Bangladesh.

Refunds

Our shared and reseller hosting packages come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us within 30 days of your order and let us know the reason for your dissatisfaction. We will issue a full refund of your hosting fees, subject to these Terms.

Please note that VPS servers, dedicated servers, domain registrations/renewals and other one-time setup or licensing fees are non-refundable.

Once your refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 7–10 working days. The exact time for the amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment gateway.

Content

All services provided by HostingBangladesh may be used only for lawful purposes. The laws of Bangladesh, including the Bangladesh Cyber Act 2006 (and any subsequent amendments), apply. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HostingBangladesh from any claims resulting from the use of our services.

Use of our services to infringe upon any copyright or trademark is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized copying or distribution of music, books, photographs, software, or any other copyrighted material. The offer for sale of counterfeit merchandise will result in immediate termination of your account.

Any account found to be in repeated violation of copyright or trademark laws may be suspended or terminated. If you believe that your copyright or trademark is being infringed, please contact us at support@hostingbangladesh.com with full details. We may request additional documentation where necessary.

Using a shared hosting account as a backup or storage device is not permitted, except for one cPanel backup of the same account. Please do not store multiple backups or use the account for general file storage.

Examples of Unacceptable Material

The following types of content and activities are not allowed on any Shared or Reseller server:

• Adult content, pornography or sexually explicit images (especially involving minors)
• Topsites, IRC scripts/bots, proxy scripts/anonymizers
• Pirated software / warez, hacker tools or archives
• Image hosting scripts similar to Photobucket or Tinypic
• AutoSurf, PTC/PTS/PPC sites
• IP scanners, brute force programs, mail bombers or spam scripts
• Commercial banner-ad rotation services
• File dump/mirror scripts (e.g. rapidshare-type sites)
• High-yield interest programs (HYIP), investment schemes, MLM or pyramid schemes
• Sale of controlled substances without valid permits
• Lottery, gambling or betting sites
• Racist, hateful or harassment-oriented content
• Fraudulent or scam sites of any kind
• Broadcasting or streaming of live sporting events (UFC, FIFA, NFL, etc.) without proper rights

Usage Policy

This Usage Policy applies to certain web hosting accounts that may include terms such as “unmetered bandwidth”, “unmetered data transfer”, “unlimited disk space” and / or “unlimited storage”.

Disk Space, Storage, Bandwidth and Data Transfer

For certain Shared and WordPress hosting plans, there is no fixed upper limit on the amount of disk space, storage, bandwidth or data transfer a single customer may use for the normal operation of a website. HostingBangladesh will make reasonable commercial efforts to provide the resources required for typical small-business websites, including periods of growth and increased usage.

To ensure excellent performance for all customers on a server, your usage must comply with these Terms and must be consistent with the normal operation of a website. Accounts that place excessive demand on server resources may be temporarily restricted, asked to upgrade, or, in extreme cases, suspended or terminated.

What Does “Unlimited” Mean?

Unlimited disk space / storage: You may create a website with a large number of pages without being charged extra for disk space alone. However, using your account primarily for file storage, backups, or file sharing (e.g. large multimedia archives or computer backups) is not allowed.

Unlimited websites: You may host multiple websites in your account, subject to resource limits and these Terms.

Unlimited email accounts: You may create multiple email accounts; however, the overall disk usage of those email accounts is subject to the same fair-usage rules. Our hosting plans are intended primarily for website content, not long-term email archiving or backup.

Excessive database usage or file count: Accounts with an unusually large number of files (inodes), very large databases, or excessive database tables may negatively affect server performance. We may request that you reduce such usage, or we may suspend/terminate the account with or without notice.

Zero Tolerance Spam Policy

We take a zero-tolerance stance against unsolicited bulk email (spam), safe-lists and purchased email lists. Any user who sends out spam from our servers may have their account suspended or terminated with or without notice.

Server Abuse

Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server or customer of HostingBangladesh is strictly prohibited. If you abuse the resources we provide in any way, we reserve the right to immediately deactivate your account without refund.

Bandwidth

If your account exceeds its allocated bandwidth limit, you will receive a notification. If you choose not to upgrade your account and continue to exceed the limit, your account may be suspended until the next monthly cycle or until an upgrade is completed.

Backups

HostingBangladesh uses reasonable efforts to protect and back up customer data on a regular basis. However, we do not guarantee the existence, accuracy or availability of our backup services. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data.

Uptime Guarantee

If your shared hosting account’s uptime falls below 99.9% in a given month, you may request credit on your account in accordance with our Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Uptime is defined as the availability of the server’s hardware and network, not specific services or third-party monitoring results. To request credit, please open a support ticket with appropriate justification. Credit approval is at the sole discretion of HostingBangladesh.

Scheduled Maintenance and Downtime

The uptime guarantee does not apply to interruptions caused by scheduled maintenance or emergency repairs. Whenever possible, we will inform you about scheduled maintenance and expected downtime in advance.

Modification of Terms

HostingBangladesh reserves the right to add, delete or modify any provision of these Terms and Conditions at any time, with or without prior notice. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
